Masks
Fresh Egg White Mask (great
for normal to oily skin)
Use after you've cleansed your
face. Separate the egg white from the yolk. Whip up the egg
white until frothy. Smear the egg white over your face and neck,
avoid the eye area. allow to dry. This is kind of messy, and
if you wrinkle your nose or furl your eyebrows while this stuff
is drying, look in the mirror. That's what you'll look like
when your eighty years old.
When the egg white has completely
dried, rinse with cool water (if you rinse with warm water,
you'll have scrambled egg whites on your face.) Your skin will
look bright and tight!
Fresh Egg Yolk Mask (great
for dry skin)
Use after you've cleansed your
face. Separate the egg white from the yolk. Whip up the egg
yolk. Smear the egg yolk over your face and neck, avoid the
eye area. Allow to dry. Rinse with cool water. Your skin will
feel refreshed and softened.
The Tanna Special (Honey
and Oatmeal Mask)
Use after you've cleansed. I did
this one at a slumber party in high school and still use it
to this day. Combine honey and oatmeal stirring it until it
becomes blended. Smear over your face and neck let stand for
15 - 30 minutes if you can stand it. Rinse with luke warm water.
Your skin feels revitalized and soft. The great thing about
this recipe is if it gets in your mouth, it tastes great.
Plain Yogurt with Cucumber
slices over Closed Eyes
Use after you've cleansed. Did
you know that Yogurt has alpha hyroxy properties? Well know
you do. I use plain yogurt (it doesn't matter if it's non-fat)
smearing it on face and neck, then I place cool cucumber slices
over my eyes. It's a tatziki dream.
