John Shourt could swim before he walked (age one)
and drew before he talked (age five).

In junior high discovered that his drawing skills with technical pens (pornographic) found favor with those that would otherwise beat him up. In high school didn't find the same skills helped as much but that the world of the line was a great place to retreat to. Quit junior college to work for a special effects house doing storyboards and rotoscope. In later years jumped to digital effects. The preoccupation with the line varied during these times. After a long time of not being hired took up a good offer to move to New Mexico. The line now flourishes. Real world and digital.
